Vineyard Notes
The NumbSkull lineup started with the
2014 vintage. Mark wanted to explore
vineyards in Walla Walla and create
wines representative of the valley. As
the popularity expanded he continued to
explore additional vineyards to create
the full-bodied blends NumbSkull
became known for. The label design
comes from a collaboration with the
talented Seattle artist Cherylin Andre,
who utilized her 'flame painting' method
to create the Skull using scorch marks
and candle soot. It won ‘Coolest Wine
label’ in 2016 from Seattle Magazine.
